The Exhibition Coordinator is a part-time position with the potential of becoming full-time pending further discussion. The Exhibition Coordinator oversees the planning and implementation of exhibitions and special projects in galleries owned and operated by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.  Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with Adobe Suite preferred. Experience with project management or Slideroom is helpful.
 
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, patient, and able to manage difficult issues.  Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks/priorities.  Calm demeanor and an interest and knowledge in the Visual Arts. Able to professionally deal with artistic temperaments. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, art history, museum studies, or equivalent experience. One to three years’ experience in professional gallery or museum work required. Experience in exhibitions management is preferred. The hourly rate for this position is $19/hour.
