The full-time position of Program Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the Programming and Strategic Partnerships & Community Engagement (SP&CE) departments. This position requires dual reporting to supervisors in both departments. The Program Coordinator will work closely with each department to address administrative and logistical needs for artists, performances, community events, workshops, and festival events, and serve as a liaison between external contacts and internal stakeholders. This role requires a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend coverage during performances, community events, festivals, and potential holiday availability.
A bachelor’s degree or 3-4 years of experience with a preferred concentration in the performing arts, arts administration, project and/or event management, non-profit administration, or related field. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe document management tools. A background in arts industry terminology is preferred. We are seeking someone who is collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with strong communication and project coordination skills. The candidate should possess exceptional interpersonal abilities, with a calm and professional demeanor that allows them to engage effectively with artists, promoters, and community stakeholders. The ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities. The salary range for this position starts at $38,000.
